WHAT IS A PARROTHEAD?
A Parrothead is a person who loves Jimmy Buffett music and enjoys the the tropical lifestyle. To be a Parrothead one just needs to have a layed back happy, fun loving attitude and let life take it's course. A Margarita in hand and Jimmy's music will enhance the experience!!!

WHERE DID THE TERM "PARROTHEAD" COME FROM?
Once, when performing at Timberwolf Ampitheatre at Kings Island in Ohio, Jimmy commented on all those crazy folks in the crowd from the Cincinnati area wearing Hawaiian shirts and parrot hats and who keep coming back to every show. "Just like DeadHeads," Jimmy commented. Coral-Reefer Timothy B. Schmidt (who also played Bass for the Eagles between stints with the Coral-Reefer Band) replied, "yea, ParrotHeads!"
